General Rules:
Different shifts/department may be considered as different entry.
ID card/Bonafide certificates must be produced by the participants.
Each participant can participate in maximum of two events.
Snack and lunch will be provided.
Participant certificates will be given.
Cash prizes for winners.
Judge’s decision is final.
Events
1. IRON OUT (DEBUGGING)
Rules:
ï¶ One participant per team.
ï¶ 2 rounds – Preliminary and Finals.
ï¶ Duration – 30 minutes.
ï¶ 10 teams for final.
2. PAPER PRESENTATION
Topic for paper presentation:
ï¶ Cloud Computing
ï¶ Cyber Security
ï¶ Big Data
ï¶ Artificial Intelligence
ï¶ Digital signature
ï¶ Bio-metric
ï¶ Python
Rules:
ï¶ Two participant per team.
ï¶ 5 minutes for presentation.
ï¶ 2 minutes for Q/A session.
ï¶ A copy of the presentation should be sent to csjarvis2k16@gmail.com
3. MIND BOGGLERS (QUIZ)
Rules:
ï¶ 2 students per team.
ï¶ Finals followed by preliminary.
ï¶ 50 questions from current affairs will be asked for prelims.
ï¶ Final round consisting questions from technical and general.
4. ALLY (CONNECTIONS)
Rules:
ï¶ 2 students per team.
ï¶ 1 team per college.
ï¶ Finals followed by prelims.
ï¶ Prelims will be a written round.
ï¶ First 4 teams will be qualified for finals.
5. HOOTERS (TREASURE HUNT)
Rules:
ï¶ 5 participants per team.
ï¶ 1 team per college.
6. BLOODSHED (GAMING)
ï¶ Mini Militia
ï¶ BLUR
ï¶ NFS
Rules:
ï¶ 4 students per team.
ï¶ 1 team per college.
7. DOODLE (PENCIL ART)
Rules:
ï¶ 1 student per college.
ï¶ Stationery items must be brought by the participants.
ï¶ Art should have relationship with the topic.
ï¶ Topic will be announced on the spot before 5 minutes of the commencement of the event.
8. QUILLING
Rules:
ï¶ Two students per college.
ï¶ Topic – Generation of computers.
ï¶ Stationery items must be brought by the participants.
ï¶ Design should be related to the topic.
9. AD-ZAP
Rules:
ï¶ Maximum of 6 per team.
ï¶ 1 team per college.
ï¶ Names of the product will be given on the spot.
ï¶ Duration – 7 minutes (2 minutes for Q/A session).
ï¶ Vulgarity and un-parliamentary words, leads to disqualification.
10. JAM (JUST A MINUTE)
Rules:
ï¶ 1 student per college.
ï¶ Topic will be announced on the spot before 5 minutes of the commencement of the event.
ï¶ No repetition, hesitation or deviation.
ï¶ No prelims.
ï¶ Vulgarity and un-parliamentary words, leads to disqualification.
11. WEB DESIGNING
Rules:
ï¶ 1 student per team.
ï¶ Topic – Clean India (Swach Bharat)
ï¶ Participants must bring their laptops with required software.
12. MEME
Rules:
ï¶ 1 student per college.
ï¶ Topic – Engineering Vs Arts.
ï¶ Participants must submit their memes at http://www.facebook.com/jarvis2k16
ï¶ The meme with the maximum likes will be announced the winner.
